QUANTIC LIVE feat. ALICE RUSSELL+ FORT KNOX 5, THUNDERBALL, ALL GOOD FUNK ALLIANCE
The dance-funk movement has had more than its
share of heroes but rarely have so many
appeared on one night. Fortune favors the bold and if
QUANTIC and ALICE RUSSELL have one thing in common, it’s a boldness and
originality that defies convention. Quantic has a unique ability to cross cultures and styles in his music, from Colombian rhythms to UK jungle to live soul bands. On March 24 he will debut a new live band project that features superstar soul diva Alice Russell, who is no stranger to SunsetSF. And if that was all that was afoot it might be enough, but as you know that ain’t how we roll here at SunsetSF. We put together an astounding collection of production talent that could headline a show like this on their own ; None other than Washington DC superstars FORT KNOX 5, THUNDERBALL and ALL GOOD FUNK ALLIANCE. All three will play exclusive dj sets before and after the live performance in a show that will wear out shoes and throats.
